Snowmobile Racing

It is that time people this weekend it is going to happen.

9:30 - 11 we are doing registration @ Coopers Landing

11- 11.45 we are teching sleds after a sled is tech there is NO leaving or opening any hoods of sleds

11:45 a quick drivers meeting to go over all the rules again to make sure everyone understands the rules

12 we leaving for the trail ride and reace as soon as we get back

6 Coopers is putting out a dinner buffet for everyone

7 awards will be handed out

There will be 3 classes

Stocker Challenge which have all stock sleds and factory bolt ons. (no y-pipe, no aftermarket pipe, stock head no cutting of stock head, no porting, no big bores) the only thing allowed will be cans and reeds.  BMP pipe mod is NOT allowed and carbide tip trail studs only

Prince of the Trail will be all sleds 1000cc and down, trail studs only, no nitrous or turbos unless the turbo were installed at the factory

King of the Trail will be anything goes no stud or motor or power adder restrictions

Everyone please remember to help all of the area gas stations and area businesses in the area.

Hey Vince, can a 1000cc sled run in the prince class off the bottle and king class on the bottle. I would be willing to leave it off the sled untill I start the king class. Just a thought. Thanks

I would like to come, My son Teddy is headed to the Canadian race as driver for Clausin crew.

My Daughter will have to fill in for her brother.

Wondering what the trail conditions are in that area, and what are the lake conditions, How much snow if any on the lake, our lakes are glare Ice.

And What is the distance we will be running?

Just came off the lake there is about an inch or so of snow on the lake and its flat as glass,  weather is calling for a little snow wed. thru sat. each day.  Trails ridden will be Vinces call not sure on condition but I dont think he is out to ride any trails that dont have snow.   Race is 1000'.

As of right now it is glare ice but the weather says it is suppose to snow from Wed on so I will make the decision on Fri night where the trail ride will go.  The track is going to be 900 ft long to make sure this very high MPH sleds have stoping room

Yes you can run the sled in both classes and I will make sure that the bottle is out of the sled, but you can not make any clutching changes

 Sorry I got the 1000' from your original post where it says 1000' and the lake went to "glare ice" after I left it tonight my bad.  Sorry for tryin to help out chief.

 this should be fun. there are a few sleds going that are 1200cc-1500cc from clinton. and the little red sled from richfeild you know about.

Where do you see it saying that Y pipes are legal.

It's going to be a sight to see when all that Big Iron goes head-to-head in the King of the Trail Class. Even if you don't have a sled, you got to come and see this one.
