Hey Dave,

Yeah i know what ya mean, meeting people at the track is always sweet.....Especially for me as a starter, i've lucked out that all the cosdra racers i have met have been really good to me and willing to give me time, just from the listwoell race and a few outlaw races and some test and tuning, i have learnt so much! Cant wait to get out on the trail with a bunch of you's...Thats what racings supposed to be all about, one day i'll give advice to beginners instead of telling them to boycott and so on...Gananoque sounds sweet, can't wait to run, if it wasnt a 3hr drive i'd come for a test and tune! haha

Here is some free advice kid: Don't support a promoter that lies. If you do, you are a bodyguard of lies.

If you want some good clutching & other setup advice, attend an ISR sanctioned race.

Who wants to be a "sideshow" to an awesome car show anyway?

No offence Joe, but I don"t think i want advice from someone that gets told off on here atleast once a day by someone.....Yeah your right though, i'm 22, i'm a kid but atleast im man enough where if i ever have a problem with Kris i'll take it up with him in person instead of going on and on annoying people on here!

Re: Syracuse Nationals July 17 & 18 Schedulei

Not sure why you think it's a side show.  I've done everything I can to make this a great "addition" to our event, not a carny side show as you implied.  I've spent a lot of money to bring in the TV crews, hire announcers, DJ's, fireworks, colorguard to put on a great show for the fans.

Not only will this hopefully attract avid snowmobile fans, but also attract tens of thousands of other people to the sport.  Just as it is with the car hobby, bringing new people into the sport/hobby is key to it's growth and perpetuation.  By calling the young racer above a "bodyguard of lies" doesn't help anyone.  Young people like him are the future of your sport.

My grandmother always told me "If you don't anything nice to say....don't say it."  I've seen this type of thing many times in the automotive world.  Conflicts happen from time to time.  It may seem important right now....but give it some time and really think about it.  Count your blessings, and move on to more important things.  Focus your energy on something positive and constructive.

I'm not taking sides or defending anyone.  I'm just my opinion from the outside looking in.

Thanks again, Rob

Rob, you are providing a great venue for the sport & for that thank you.

Many boycotted a race a few years ago & that place has been "fixed" for now.

Dust & classic cars, I'm not so sure that is going to go over so good.....keep that water truck handy.

2 lane racing? Makes for a long day with a decent turnout.

I'm fairly certain my point got across, I'll stop for now unless I'm attacked again.

Hey bay city bullet..... This is NOT an attack against you because I don't know who is right or wrong here nor do I care because I can't run Syracuse anyways that day. But keep in mind that it is pretty cool of the Moderators on here to allow your post to be said. They can if they want delete you from this forum. Just pretty cool they let both sides be said. Hats off to AMSNOW mods. Not just delete your post but they can delete your registration. So thats pretty cool of the forum moderators. Don't you think ???

Dust isn't a problem.  We've had tractor pulls in the past, and they put up a ton of dust.

We could probably run 3 wide, but to ensure rider's safety, we've decided to run 2.

Thanks, Rob

Re: Syracuse Nationals July 17 & 18 Schedule

You can just show up.  All racers enter GATE #7 then stop at the white building just inside the gate for camping check in and admission passes.  You'll see lots of signs.  You will register for racing with Kris inside the fairgrounds at the track.

Thanks, rob

Re: Syracuse Nationals July 17 & 18 Schedule

Dave, we'll be arriving Friday morning around 11 or 12. As long as traffic and the border cooperate.

I'm pretty sure the 800 improvers run at 725lbs in Factory mod 1. Not 100% sure on that one though.

Might be best to call Kris and be sure.

Don't think you'll make 725 will ya Davey?Sad
