Snowmobile Racing

I would like to hear from you Tar racers what it would take to have you to come race on the grass. I'm more concerned about Pro Stock 1000 and Pro Mod Power Adder sleds. You have all of May, June, July and August to run the pavement. What stops you from running on the grass? I think if you all came over it could be like it was 10 years ago and we could have 16 sled ladders in all the premier classes.

X2, and get rid of the race to race rule changes, the favortism by officials towards one or two people, the dust/mud and the whiners when they dont get there own way..

HOW ABOUT LETTING 3 CYL IN 2 CYL SLEDS,SCREW ISR AND HAVE A DUSTING GIRL KEEPING THE SLEDS CLEAN IN THE PITS,MOST OF THE WHINERS LEFT RACING

 hey if you had a couple of hot looking hooters girls polishing the sled,,,,, and other things,,,,, id be there!! i disagree about the whiners though ive seen lots right on this forum.

 There are tar races going into Oct. now and more and more races every year with the AMA,Shootouts and NSA,NSDRA, and In Detroit with Milan the first Friday of each mo.

it seems as though you could race almost every weekend early on in the spring to summer.

and 1 for sure big plus you don't have to push your sleds up hill in the mud... everything rolls nice on pavement

We will see you guy's on the Ice though.

I loved Grass racing and still will watch it but you wont see me race on it no mo.

maybe not schedule the grass race on top of one of the largest asphalt events of the year.

Sorry, I didn't pick the date. Just asked a question and Mr Petschke answered it respectfully. I think you should change your date. We're having the fastest guys on earth race at a Snowmobile event, not a Car, Bike event. Does that mean you'd come if we rescheduled the date?

If our date wasn't set first, I would have changed it out of respect for what you're trying to do.

Come on guys, TAR is for TIRES, aren't you sick of being also-rans? At every dragstrip there are cars and bikes that make you guys look like grandma on sunday. Wouldn't you rather have the prestige of being the fastest on the track by going to a snowmobile race?

i like beating twenty thirty thousand dollar cars on my two thousand dollar sled. more and more every week sleds are stepping up to whoomp cars and bikes. when it comes to bracket racing sleds are deadly. theres money there for everyone who wants to try.

   I hear you, I like to drive to the track with my 9 second street Camaro that has a 750hp small block (thanks to 2 stage nitrous) engine that I built for $800, and outrun racers with $10,000+ engines too, I've done it for years (without blowing up), but at the end of the day, I still look like Grandma, unless I bring a 6 second car, on a non-event day that is, otherwise 6 seconds is slow too!

Talk about looking like a Gramma reminds Me of the last time I took my 69 383 4 gear Roadrunner to Cayuga. Had her all dialed in just about at 14 flat at 100 mph. and thought I was doing fine until I lined up against a Super Pro Camaro running in the tens in the last Time Trial before Eliminations started.

I think I was at the 60 ft mark and he was at half track before I knew what was what. Sure humbled Me right down.

Remember, unless you are sponsored by someone like Lucas Oil or that Trucking Co. from Nebraska that pays Clay what's his name, there's always gonna be someone faster than You!
