TRA cover on Arctic Cat Microbelmont 4-arm clutch
I have heard of people running a TRA cover on a microbelmont clutch for an arctic cat. Has anyone tried this? I have a few questions:
1) I am running 2001 ZRT triple and wonder if there is enough clearance between the belly pan side for the TRA cover?
2) What affect is there on the acutal spring forces? I am running a 165/330 ac spring right now and if I put the TRA cover on and put in a 250/410 TRA spring, is that the equivalent of putting in a 250/410 AC spring in (ie, whatever the TRA spring forces are is what I would see in the clutch and could basically change arm weights based on the TRA spring numbers)?
3) Does anyone build AC spring that are in the 200/350+ pressure range. Trying to find stiffer AC springs both in engagement and top end than I already have.
Any help/thots are appreciated...

Re: TRA cover on Arctic Cat Microbelmont 4-arm clutch
I have a stepped ring under the cover on mine to allow us to use the longer springs. It worked just fine and the TRA spring selection covers anything you would want to do. I don't have a direct comparasin from the shorter Pol/AC springs to the TRA stuff though.
