We did. We had a great turnout of racers and spectators both days and all racers went away tired, some sore but all had big smiles on their faces. No complaining and no drama, just a great weekend of head to head racing with super weather.
We will be running the race again next January and all indications are it will grow significantly again. We had over 200 class entries on Saturday and over 100 on Sunday. Some folks that had planned to race both days just were not up to a second day of racing either because they were sore or their sleds were hurting.
To our knowledge ours is the only race of it's kind for sure in Canada and interest is big!
