Congratulations to Mott and Smith that is really getting it done and nice to see it done at an event. It is amazing how so much has been found to get these huge horsepower sleds down the track and I am not sure what is left on the table with respect to belts, tracks, etc but you surely raised the bar. I was wondering if you could enlighten us on how many made it to Valdosta to compete and what the rest of your runs were from that days event. Thanks. ptm
So sorry to hear about your drivers father hope all is well. It is so great to see guys like your team work so hard, put so much time and money into a project and have it all pay off. You guys came to compete at Martin and were as professional and humble as they come. Kudos to you, your team and everyone involved in your sled I know it is mostly thankless and the AMA write up and article is great prompts for such a great accomplishment to you and your team. Stan - ptm ps i know the feeling on the

the weight rule i want isn't designed to slow anyone down, just keep the structual integrity in the snowmobile, were alot heavier than most right now, and were still running the numbers, so its not about making us faster, but when there is no weight rule, some people will take it to an extreme, now thats what you will be forced to do if you want to be competitive with them, some people really don't think of what would happen if.............................................., my drivers life
while i can underastand what you are saying who is to say what others have done is not safer then trying to put so much power to a chassis that has beeen constructed for a fraction of the power you are putting to it. some can argue that it is far more crazy to put that much power to what you are doing then to spend a lot of money developing something that is state of the art with the proper technology components and materials designed for withstanding the power been thrown at it and that I will ad
I cant agree with the weight rule. I personally think the huge HP being made by the turbos is worse then a light sled and far more dangerous. The turbo guys want a weight rule because they are heavy and want to try and equal the playing field - if they even need it - but 2 strokes who are lighter will never make the kind of power to then compete. What is the better way I dont know but watching a turbo with 500 plus hp get down the track as i did at Martin it has a hell of a harder time then the two
Not known as one who gets involved in trash talking, arguments, disagreements, hahahaha, I have to say this battle of the big guys and they ae big is much better then any battle I have been in with Hills, better then my twisted crank at Dynotech make belief story before Jim went public or any battle that N20ron has been in and far more exciting just because what you both bring to the table. I think there is much the same in both of you in that you both can come across as arrogant, cocky, brash to
certainly a fantastic two runs congratulations on that as that is very impressive! regarding the 7.97 run I understood that you actually used a two stage N20 system on it once to sppol the turbo and a second one near the end of the track. When listening to the video I made it is quite evident hearing the second shot with extra rpms screaming. Correct me if I am wrong and if so I apologize thats what I was told, saw and still can hear on my video of that run. Not trying to be difficult but i think
Jeff thank you for the explanation of what I thought was a 2 stage it is quite a big difference in rpm right near the end of the run. confident is good but can be taken other ways and I know that night at Martin with the 7.97 it was. good luck at Valdosta I hope the run out is big. If you want the vid I thinkit is posted on Youtube and photobucket under my name - puddytatman - or send me your email to puddytatman@aol.com and I will send it to you. I thought I snet it to you before but no problem
Thanks Peter we were significantly better then any of the passes we had ever done so we knew it would have been good. To bad such a good air day was wasted for all of us. Cayuga needs to get there facility up to standards. Catracer wasnt able to get out my son was in a tourny and had games Sunday and Monday. Maybe one mroe time this year we will see. ptm
