I just got off the phone with Rich. His sled did pass inspection and did not get dq'd. After grueling tech and repeated harassment by NSA officials, NSA members and IHRA officals, Rich withdrew his entry. Vince
Redbuiltbo Youre missing the point. There really is no sense in bitching about these twin classes AGAIN. I only stated the fact that Jamie posted a few months ago, during Prosled Shootout planning, that whatever Rich came up with for a twin class or classes, that he would follow the same format. We then decided to build a sled for both races, and now we're done for the year because Jamie hasn't followed through with the AMT class yet. Instead he has decided to run just a twin nitrous class
Mike, Youre not even a twin guy. You dont even come to the Amsnow Shootout. I rest my case. Jamie, we are coming no matter what, I just wanted to bring our Z1. There really is no place for them other than an AMT class or bracket. Ours has run 9.60 with a terrible 60 and letting off at 1200ft. We could run high 9.30s-9.40s easily at Martin. (We had an electrical problem @ esta so we were off at the Prosled Shootout) Thats just not competative with an 8.60-8.80 from a 1000 on spray. Vince

Mike, f'n a! If a promoter told you there was going to be a vintage nitrous class and you built old red, and then said no I changed my mind, you'd be whinning too. If my memeory is right, all you nitrous guys were whinning a few months ago about a twin nitrous class and Rich gave you all one and no one showed! Thats my ***, so I will keep whinning. The only one that tried to make it was Stan. That still would have been 2 entries after all the whinning. Vince
Jamie I thought you were gonna follow the same format as the Prosled Shootout and have an All Motor Twin class too w/ Z1s w/ stock turbos. This is why we built ours to run esta and your race. We had 7 sleds in a quick 8. You should be able to get the same. Rich was letting all motor 4-tech ski doos , all motor nytros and apexs run the class too but none were in the class. Let this class happen and Big Moose Yamaha/Arctic Cat will sponsor. Vince PS. Oh ya and the big pissing match a few months ago

Rich Alex wears Alpinestar street boots. They arent as light but a lot safer for ankle and grindage support. Vince PS. We can take the pro stk to Ohio this weekend for ya!!!
